In 1971, when Antonio Caravaggio graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Civil Engineering, he sought a means to apply his talents and skills. After several successful years of building quality custom homes in the GTA, he changed his focus to the commercial/industrial sector and founded Caran Construction Ltd.
This highly respected design-build company has provided a complete turn-key construction operation to a satisfied clientele for over 30 years. Its success is in no small way due to Caravaggio's approach to client service, innovative design practices, and meticulous attention in all details of construction. This has in turn, generated extensive referral and repeat customers.
Carandale Homes is the newest development in Antonio's lifelong involvement with precision construction projects. In this new branch of the family tree he is joined by Carlo, Marco, and Michael, his three sons - all of whom are graduate Civil Engineers. Since 1996 the brothers have gained valuable experience in land development project management, construction, and detailed engineering design. And so it is in keeping with the Caravaggio's progressive vision and extensive experience that the family is proud to stand together as Carandale Homes.

After looking for many years for a lot to build on in Collingwood, we were directed in December 2007 to check out the estate homes being built by Carandale Homes in Phase II of Falcon Chase. It was love at first sight!
Our tall wish list for our future retirement home included full town amenities, a large sized lot with built form not crowding the edges of the property, a view of the escarpment and the waters of Georgian Bay. Falcon Chase has it all! We were immediately taken with the layout of the Como with its very large main floor Master Bedroom and spacious Great Room for entertaining. We are particularly pleased that architectural control guidelines are being adhered to in this new subdivision.
